🎨 COLOUR THE COMMUNITY – A LITTLE UPDATE! 🌈

What started as a little idea to bring some colour to our local charity shop windows is beginning to grow! 🥰

I’ve had such a lovely response from some of our local charity shops, and we’ve already transformed a few windows along the way. However, I’ve also discovered that getting permission to paint charity shop windows isn’t always quite as straightforward as I first thought!

So… Colour the Community is expanding! 🎉

I’m now opening the campaign up to small independent businesses across Westhoughton and the surrounding areas who would love a splash of colour on their windows.

The heart of the campaign stays exactly the same — bringing creativity to our high streets, supporting local and making our community that little bit brighter. ❤️

Our wonderful business sponsors, who are helping make the campaign possible, will also have their names proudly displayed in the windows they’ve helped bring to life.

I’ll be back out with my paintbrushes this Friday, and we’ve already got a few new windows lined up! 🎨🙌

Honestly, seeing that little 1K next to Me and the Paint feels pretty special.

What started with me simply finding my way back to creativity has grown into painty nights, kids’ workshops, gorgeous venues, community projects, new friendships, lots of laughter and hundreds of people picking up a paintbrush and saying…

“I can’t paint!”

…only to prove themselves completely wrong. 😂🎨

Every booking, like, comment, share, recommendation and person who has come along to create with me has helped Me and the Paint grow.

Our upcoming Sip & Paint evenings at Carmen Bar & Eatery are all about switching off, getting creative and enjoying a relaxed night out together. 🎨🥂

No experience is needed at all — everything is fully guided, step by step with Jen from me & the paint so you can simply turn up, settle in and enjoy the process.

Come with friends, family or even on your own. It’s a cosy atmosphere with plenty of time to chat, socialise, laugh and create some lovely memories together. 🤍

From autumnal paintings to ceramic pumpkins and personalised Christmas baubles, there’s a little something for every season.

We’ve got a gorgeous few months of Sip & Paint events coming up at The Grey Man, Daisy Hill⁠ with Me & the Paint — taking us all the way from cosy autumn evenings to Christmas! ✨
