Just before Christmas, I won a PS5 on Play your cards right at MKM Building Supplies
Neither of us are into gaming (aren't Atari still on the shelves?? 😉)
So we decided the best thing to do was to donate it to Teenage Cancer Trust at Castle Hill Hospital. This is a cause very close to our hearts as they supported my beautiful wife Imy during and after her fight with cancer in so many ways from treatment to aftercare.
We hope this will make a positive difference for young adults undergoing treatment for cancer in the unit.

Busy few weeks installing new Boilers and servicing existing ones.

We had a full day servicing Caravan boilers last week.
Servicing caravan boilers is just as, if not more important than servicing your home Boiler for a few reasons
☆FUN FACT TIME☆
☆As many caravans are based close to the coast, the sea air can cause more excessive corrosion
☆ Any leaks of LPG will not disappate as quickly as Natural Gas as it is heavier than air so it sticks around for a while
☆Regular checking of supply hoses is also needed due to atmospheric wear and tear
☆ Most caravan sites and insurance companies insist on annual servicing and good boiler maintenance- if not, your warranties/ insurance etc. may be void!

The best way to maintain and check the safety/efficiency and prolong the life of your Boiler is to have a yearly service.

So our Holidays are over, we hope you’ve all enjoyed the break like we have!
I’m sorry if we haven’t been responsive in this past two weeks, but this is the first proper break we’ve had since last year!

Recent work
Heat only Boiler with a cylinder & old radiators.
We replaced with an Ideal Logic Combi with a 10 year warranty & Halo programmer, complete with new radiators (top tip, when replacing an old boiler, old radiators tend to not cope with the "pressure" ;) )

We hate to say but, but it looks like the weather is changing! 🥶🫣
Don't get caught out! Now is the best time to get your Boilers and overall systems inspected and serviced before the cold weather really kicks in. Prevention is quicker, easier and most importantly 💷 CHEAPER 💷 than a costly repair or emergency call out 😉
A healthy heating system is also much more efficient and, again, CHEAPER to run!
