IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Following medical advice I will be taking a bit of a step back from the business for the next wee while and reducing my workload & travel.

This is not something I want to do but unfortunately it is something I HAVE to do.

Emergency call out to a holiday let in Inverness City Centre after the guests accidentally snapped the key in the lock when they checked in!!

Broken key extracted and as the owner had plenty spares, there was no requirement to change the lock. We also re-aligned the door as it was "sticking" when opening and closing.

The key won't turn. The door won't lock, and after the 14th attempt you're now arguing with the door like it's doing it deliberately.

Unfortunately, shouting at it still isn't an approved repair method. I've checked. 🔧😂

Job completed recently at a short term holiday let in Inverness City Centre.

Existing ERA Vectis gearbox, which required a key to lock on yhe inside, swapped out for a new euro profile gearbox with key and turn cylinder and new handles to comply with regulations for keyless exit.

Working out at Mid Cairnglass, near Clephanton, to update a couple of locks for an elderly customer to make it easier for them to lock and unlock their doors.

The Chubb mortice deadlock on the front door was replaced with a Chubb euro profile deadlock along with a new British Standard thumbturn cylinder. This particular Chubb lock is no longer manufactured, but thanks to the power of the internet, we managed to source a brand new one.

Back door deadlock was also changed to a euro profile deadlock, again with a new British Standard cylinder.

Full lock change for a customer who had recently bought a new property in Urray, near Muir of Ord.

Front and back door mortice locks changed for new British Standard locks and both locks keyed alike at the customer's request so that the same key works on both doors.

Internal door mortice lock also changed.

The customer had purchased new brass handles for all the doors so we fitted these as well whilst on site.

New euro deadlock with thumbturn cylinder fitted at a holiday let in Inverness for a local property management company. We also swapped out the back door dual key cylinder for a new, British Standard thumbturn cylinder for keyless exit purposes.
