Experience is essential.

All candidates must have their own tools and a valid CSCS card. Van can be supplied if necessary.

🔧 Project Spotlight: Ongoing Aluminium Glazing Works – Edinburgh 🏗️

We’re currently progressing well on a striking new-build residential property in the Edinburgh area, where we’ve been appointed to deliver a full aluminium glazing package.

So far, we’ve completed the installation of:
🟢 Aluminium window systems
🟢 Large-format aluminium sliding doors

Still to be installed, the main aluminium entry door will complete our contribution to this clean and modern development. The client personally finalised both the design and colour of the systems, ensuring the installation fully aligns with their architectural vision.

🛠️ This project is a great example of how high-spec aluminium systems can transform a property—both aesthetically and practically.

🔧 Project Update: uPVC Tilt & Turn & AOV Window Installation – New Hall Street 🏗️

We’re proud to share the successful delivery of our recent works at New Hall Street, a multi-block residential development where we supplied and installed a full package of high-performance uPVC glazing and door systems.

Appointed as specialist installers, our scope included the supply and installation of uPVC tilt & turn windows across all residential units—offering modern ventilation, easy maintenance, and enhanced thermal performance. We also installed AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) windows in designated areas to meet smoke ventilation and building safety requirements.

In addition to the windows, we supplied and fitted:
🔹 uPVC doors to bin store and bike storage units
🔹 Robust doors to all main and rear entrances of the apartment blocks

🔧 Project Update: High-Rise Window Replacement Nearing Completion 🏗️

We’re proud to be nearing the final stages of a large-scale window replacement project on a series of high-rise residential buildings within the Newcastle Area.

The existing windows were no longer meeting modern compliance standards—particularly in terms of thermal performance and safety. Our team at Sharp Installations was appointed to deliver full replacement works, ensuring that the new systems met current building regulations and enhanced energy efficiency targets, including improved U-values and airtightness.

✅ Scope of Works Included:
🟢 Removal of outdated window systems
🟢 Supply and installation of new, thermally efficient window units
🟢 Full insulation and airtight detailing
🟢 Structural support works using steel framing systems
🟢 Fire stopping and compliant finishing

All works were carried out at height on fully scaffolded elevations by our experienced operatives—ensuring quality, safety, and minimal disruption to residents.
