Uncovered a heart of stone 💚

What started as a simple tidy-up turned into something a little more special… beneath the overgrown shrubbery, we uncovered a hidden love heart-shaped pond.

We reinstated the pond liner, brought the crazy paving back to life, and gave the whole space the care it deserved.

And for a final touch—something not asked for, but that just felt right—we added a tiny engraved heart in the centre, perfectly placed for the frogs to sunbathe on.

Safe to say… the frogs love it 🐸💚

Big transformation on this one 🔥

Removed the old hearth and opened up the fireplace to create a much larger, more functional space. Installed a new lintel to support the opening, then built decorative brickwork to the back and sides for a clean, classic finish.

All plastering reinstated to tie everything back in seamlessly — ready for the final touches.

Really pleased with how this one turned out 👌

We’ve all gotta start somewhere…. Max has been watching and taking note so he was handed the board and trowel this morning. A bit of tidy up after his first coat but he’s done a grand job. Well done son!
