Roof line, pitched by Oakleaflofts. We can not take credit for the tiling in this one, but we pitched the roof line completing first fix carpentry, ready for the tilers. I think you’ll agree that they look very smart. Get a good foundation, if you want a good finish. A poor foundation, leads to problems down the line. Too often we see corners being cut to save costs- but further down the line the cost will catch up with you in repairs and ‘do-overs’ or a generally disappointing finish.

If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right.

Hip to gable conversion with rear dormer. These are common and give the most headroom and usable space in a typical semi- detached property. It’s the most cost effective way to maximise space. VELUX on the front roof elevation, that has been re-pitched. Pictures show this built and insulated (swipe for timber construction) We’ve just finished tiling this roof, With just the ridge tiles to go on and the guttering. The inside is plasterboarded and plastered now... I just need to catch up with photos! Taking photos is the part I’m still getting used to 🙈.
