Erith and Belvedere Local History Society The aim of the Society is to promote an interest, both passive and active, in local history and allied subjects. The Annual membership fee is £18.

Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month the exception of August (Annual Outing) and June (Outside Visit.). New members members of all ages are always welcome. Non members £2.50p per meeting.

This is a paint by a lady of the Parish family. It is from Bexley Road Erith looking across to the River Thames. In. The middle ground can be seen St. JOHNS Church in West Street..This ground in the main is now the Quarry Estate. Painted around 1870/80, I think.
