Black chrome accessories to match the granite worktops, accompanied with a sleek LED strip light to illuminate the area 🌞

TV up on the wall for breakfast, lunch and dinner viewing 📺

Recent socket install ⚒️

Customer only had one socket situated behind their bed so they wanted a socket either side of the bed and at a more accessible height to be able to switch their reading lamps on/off at night without any hassles!

Not a problem, clean chases for the cables and sockets, ready for the plasterer and sockets measured to a tee either side of the bed 👏

Recent downlight installation all finished up after plastering ✅️

Customer doesn't need to worry about their dark hallway in the evening anymore 🌃⚡️

These downlights are "plug and play" so perfect for plasterers and painters to just disconnect and reconnect when finished. 😁

Also they change between 3 colour temperatures and different brightness settings, only the best of fittings get used to brighten up your home 🌞 👌

Just again highlighting the importance of getting your electrical installation checked and upgrading your consumer unit! Got a call last night and managed to get out today, customers sockets had stopped working, they were away on holiday for a month and came back to the bad news, their daughter was sitting in the room whilst there was banging and sparks coming from behind the tv! 💥

Now if they had an up to date consumer unit the damage to this cable would never happen, absolutely burnt to a crisp before the old fuse blew!👎

These kinds of things can take years to come to the surface, don't think "it's been fine for years", faults can be working away under the surface!
Very lucky nothing caught fire here! 🔥

Recommended to upgrade the consumer unit whether it be by me or another electrician and happy to go ahead with my services. 👏

Customer contacted me about sockets not working, it was unfortunately not a good find at all! Customer has a lot of heaters plugged in so over the years this circuit has deteriorated, no cpc (circuit protective conductor) in sight which is a massive shock risk considering most accessories are metal, also incorrect size mcb (miniature circuit breaker) has been installed and no rcd protection either so this was just allowed to burn away without any tripping, this could've been a lot worse for someone's small business!!! 👎

Don't take your electrics for granted, it could cost you down the line.

Extra socket for a tv added in for one of my clients in Kilwinning today, tidy install all round, the client even mentioned how neat it was and she was expecting more damage. I always take great pride in my work, time and care is taken and the job gets done to a very high standard. Job is now ready for the plasterer coming in then the tv can go up on the wall above the brand new fireplace when it gets installed, this one will certainly look the part 👌

Note also the shoddy work of the previous owner, DIY dave would be proud 💪🤣
