Grade II Listed Property – Repointing & Stonework Restoration in Kineton
We’ve recently completed a full repointing and stonework restoration project on a beautiful Grade II listed property in Kineton.
We began on the gable end, carefully removing deteriorated stone. A significant amount of the stonework had to be replaced due to wear and weather damage. While working on this section, we also restored the roof verges to ensure everything was structurally sound and weatherproof.
Moving around to the rear of the property, the existing pointing was in very poor condition. There were numerous holes and areas that had been patched over the years, which had unfortunately led to water ingress into the hallway. To resolve the issue properly, we removed all failed mortar and carried out a full repointing.
While on site and in “pointing mode,” we also completed necessary brickwork repairs to bring the whole area back to a solid, long-lasting finish.
All repointing was carried out using a traditional sand and hydraulic lime mix, suitable for listed buildings and designed to allow the property to breathe while maintaining its character and integrity.
Another happy customer and a property now protected for many years to come.
