Good start so far on our project in South Pool! 🏡🙌
Lots happening already and the transformation is well underway.

Layers of old wallpaper stripped back!

Structural knock-throughs completed and steels now in place.

Our client has decided to make the most of those beautiful creek views, so we’re adding another window to the lounge and enlarging the window in the top bedroom. 😁

Windows have been finalised and can be ordered tomorrow. 👌

Kitchen plan is now 99% complete, meaning we can get the services in place and keep things moving. 🙌

Bathroom layouts are also finalised, and we’ve knocked down the old airing cupboard to create a much more workable space in the main bathroom.

Downstairs toilet wall has been knocked through to make room for an additional shower. 👍

Ceilings have been dropped to allow the plumber and electrician to get the services through.

We’ve also battened the ceilings out to bring them back to 400mm centres ready for the new plasterboard.
This is going to be a good one! 🔨🏡

And here we have the finished result! ✨
New flooring installed throughout the ground floor, a wall knocked through to create a more open space, fresh skimmed walls, new skirting boards, thresholds, and roses to finish it all off.

We were originally called in to take on this full project – supplying and fitting the flooring as well as the kitchen. Unfortunately, because we don’t offer 0% finance with fitting included, we lost out on the full job.

We got the call back to install the flooring…

This one has been far from straightforward. Being an older property, we’ve had different floor constructions throughout, walls that aren’t straight, furniture to work around, and the challenge of making the floor flow seamlessly from room to room. That’s easy when a property is empty – much more challenging when it’s lived in!

To make things even more interesting, we had to start in the kitchen because it was due to be fitted just days after we arrived. That meant ripping up the old tiles and self-levelling the floor twice to get it perfectly flat and ready for the new floor.

The job was too big for the previous floor layer 👀, but we’re really pleased with how it’s turned out! All that’s left now is fitting the skirting boards and tiling the entrance and utility, and this one will be complete.

The extra planning and attention to detail are what make all the difference, and we can’t wait to show you the finished result. 👌

Here’s the before and after of our Plymouth project 👇

In around 12 working weeks — with a few delays from other commitments and the lovely British weather 🌧️ — we’ve taken this one from a full strip-out to a complete rebuild.

Now officially finished and handed over to the agent, with tenants moving in tomorrow 😁

Really proud of the standard we’ve delivered here. For us, it’s simple: strip it back, rebuild it properly, and get it right the first time.

Refurb project update 🔨

Wall painting complete, woodwork installed and ready for finishing, and radiators are on—perfect timing with the sun finally showing up ☀️
Today was all about the floors: prep done, lounge and bathroom boarded, and LVT laid through the lounge, bathroom, and kitchen.

Kitchen arriving tomorrow 👀

Scaffolding down on the front elevation, so the new door and freshly painted exterior are finally on show.

Into the final stages now—bringing it all together.
