T C Agriculture T Clappison Agriculture provides agricultural contracting throughout East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire.

T Clappison Agriculture specialises in the low ground pressure application off both avadex and slug pellets. Using tracked John Deere gators fitted with precision auto steer. We can spread avadex at both 12 or 15 meters and slug pellets at 24, 28, 30 and 32 meters allowing us to remain in the tramline of the most common sprayer widths. We also have a 250hp tractor and 14t grain trailer available for hire.

Last year saw me take a bit off a step back from contracting to focus more on our own farm at home. This was the first year since 2008 that we’ve farmed our full farm and the first year that I’ve farmed it largely on my own since I started it back up in 2018!

After 9 years of avadex applications being one of the key services that we offered, earlier this year we made the difficult decision to sell of our remaining machinery off to allow another farming business to have a go.

During the last 9 years we’ve had some interesting seasons and from what started with a few hundred acres a year turned into nearly 14,000 acres in our biggest season servicing over 70 agricultural businesses.

Although we’re moving away from avadex applications we are still pushing forward and are now working with another local business to allow us to expand the services that we can offer.
