We are a dance company who specialise in free performance for public spaces and creative learning for young people. We create dance performances to interest and entertain based on themes we are passionate about and for particular events or purposes. We believe in dance as an art form as well as a physical activity. We try to reach audiences who may not usually see dance performance in traditional
performance venues. Our creative learning work runs both independently of and associated with our performance work. We work with young people to provide opportunities to enjoy dance and to develop their knowledge, skills and creativity. Combination Dance was established in 2001. We are based in the London Borough of Richmond, South West London and work both in the borough and across the capital. Our work is led by Artistic Director, Anne-Marie Smalldon and supported by a team of performers, production creatives and a producer. We are a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales and a registered charity. We are governed by a voluntary Board of Directors and Trustees. We are funded by our local authority, London Borough of Richmond, Sport England and Arts Council England.
