I’m currently working in Norway at the moment and due back home 23rd of August. I have limited access to my socials and messenger.

The pressure is really on now and we have just 14 days until delivery day and over £19,000 to go to reach our target so the most vulnerable children and families have full belly’s and warm homes this Christmas ❤️

We really can’t put into words how challenging our children and families lives are , we aren’t just talking about people who are on a low income we are talking about families whose lives have been shattered by illness, abuse , domestic violence , who are homeless , children who have lost a parent , parents who have lost a child, people who have been made redundant or lost jobs and who have no income at all 💔

When we starting our Christmas appeal 13 years ago we would never have believed we would still be doing them now and every year the need has got bigger and every year since , we have had to review our appeal criteria making decisions on a need by need basis ensuring those not only facing the greatest hardship but those also in the most challenging of circumstances receive the support they need❤️

And because our appeal starts from nothing with no government funding to support it , we can only provide what our children and families need if we receive donations to do so and that’s why over the years we have written off to hundreds of individuals and businesses in the hope that they will help us too❤️

As a team we will never sit back and wait for the changes that are needed to make families lives better and we will always do whatever it takes to make life even a wee bit better for them but we need all of you to get behind us as we cant do this on our own , we need all of you to help us ❤️

The importance of yearly boiler servicing. This Valiant boiler required a full strip service, this involved the removal of the main burner to access the heat engine..

The picture shows a sooted up heat engine dramatically reducing the boilers efficiency and performance.. Cleaned and washed out the heat engine, cleaned and reset the spark electrodes and reassembled with new manufactures graphite gasket and retaining nuts. Carried out full safety checks and boiler now running as per specifications.

It’s been a while on the old posts!!

We are still alive and kicking, after taking a small step back from business due to a home move etc.
