Another lovely transformation! This garden has had a full reset after the grass was badly damaged from the family pet and crazy heat waves this year. 3 weeks on, here are the results!

The classic double stripe is my favourite. It's just so satisfying seeing them appear! It takes a lot of work to keep your grass happy at this length but it's truly worth it 😎

Lovely garden I've worked on today. The grass had suffered flood damage and was full of clover, crab grass and other nasty low growing weeds which was suffocating the grass. This lawn has had a full reset and overseeded with a professional blend of grass seed grown in Scotland and top dressed with high quality compost with seaweed extract. Kept watered each day this will recover in anything from 10 to 30 days and continue to mature into a beautiful lawn.

What a heatwave we're having this week. Here's some free advice on keeping your lawn looking happy during the heat. WATER! Give your lawns a good soak with a sprinkler for at least 1 hour to let the water get down deep into the rootzone. If you do this, when it's hot and dry there will be water stored deep in the soil allowing the grass to stay happy and green!

🌦️ With all of this heat and lack of rain we've had, your lawns will finally get a well deserved drink🌦️

If it's dry enough you can cut it a little shorter because the rain is going to make it grow faster. Leaving your grass to grow too long and cutting it once a month is one of the worst things you can do. You should aim for once a week at minimum and this will give you a much thicker looking lawn.
