Currently in Dunfermline working on a job that's getting a full house renovation. The best kind of clients arw the ones that say 'take as long as it needs, just as long as its being done right.' It's taken a LOT of prepping and going to a frow about the outcomes of each step. From the ending of days because of other trades needing in and in the very beginning having to reset and redo a previous persons work. Ive been here coming on 4 weeks now, pretty pleased about it being done to a high standard. As always!
At the time of the look around in the beginning of they're journey, back in November last year the clients were intrigued by my previous experience and asked and then listened to my thoughts on a kitchen floor the guy had concreted himself and it hadn't levelled even. I gave him what I knew from the experiences from building sites and it worked out for him. Personally I think if I hadn't dropped my 2 pense in, with an honest approach to it, I wouldn't have gotten the job.
See, what I'm getting at is maybe people don't want your opinion all the time but if your honest about your intentions of the conversation and make sure you are being yourself, it's up to them to make they're choice on what they do with it.
Were finally on the home stretch now though, and I'll maybe even get a day (or 2?!) break in before heading to next job in Mid May.
