Heavy rain bringing a lot of silt & dirt into the wells. Remember to check filter cartridges, change where necessary. Pump ends can and do become clogged with sediment.

Rain thankfully! but how much will it take to re-fill the reservoirs? I love this weather, fresh, cool days, you can breathe and get about! fields greening... a thousand shades of green with summer flowers lighting up the shadows...

In this heat, prolonged drought, everyone should be conserving water. If your well runs low, try pumping early in the morning when air pressure is lower. No water supply is unlimited. Waste is inexcusable; re-use grey water in the garden, on the dairy farm always re-cycle water from the plate cooler. Plug leaks immediately though finding them might be a challenge!
