Huge transformation in 6 days with this bathroom.

Customers had struggled with getting in and out of the bath so they thought it was time to renovate the bathroom making it much easier to get in and out of the shower with the controls being positioned on entry and exit of the shower.

Flooring is LVT with a lovely combination toilet and basin unit from Plumb World.

Perform Panels installed in the wet zone and behind the basin.

Absolutely love the colour theme in this bathroom.

Due to the existing soil location and the age of the house, we couldn’t move the soil pipe for the toilet so our only option was to swing the toilet around and box it in for the new toilet location.

The flooring installed was Leven Oak Herringbone LVT, and although took a little longer to install than planned, it was totally worth it!

Few decorations and painting was completed after the photo was taken but forgot to get an up-to-date photo since my last visit.

Excellent choice of fixtures and flooring in this bathroom.

The existing bath was tired and the sealant had perished, so we decided to replace the bath with a J shaped bath with the basin being moved over to the toilet wall, and a new towel radiator being installed in the existing location.

Love the flooring choice!
Quick-Step - White Stone

The en-suite shower had leaked for a while, so the tray was replaced with a low profile tray, and the gap between the tiles and tray patched in with some white tiles.

The customer loved the flooring so much, she had made the decision to have it in the en-suite.

Nice walk in completed last month.

For some unknown reason, the toilet waste was positioned under the shower tray making a very high step up into the shower.

Laura Ashley LVT installed with a new vanity unit installed replacing the pedestal basin.

Existing panels were removed being replaced with a similar design by Perform Panel going down to the new floor height.

Great job done this week!

Tiled floor with XPS waterproof subfloor installed, with a new suite and wall tile job to finish it off.

Property water supply is well water so I installed a 3 bar Salamander RP100TU pump and the shower has never been so good! I also linked the en-suite shower to the pump so both showers have an excellent flow rate.

Wardrobe in the bedroom next door was removed to allow more space for a bigger tray in this bathroom.

What an incredible transformation!

The customer had water coming through the ceiling into their kitchen which was down to the shower tray being incorrectly installed and the sealant of the tray had failed. With all woodwork being wet and black mould starting to spread, I replaced all of the woodwork throughout the bathroom for new and then tanked it with NoMorePly XPS board and Mapei showerproof kit, to prevent any problems in the future. You could say a little overkill with the tiles being replaced with laminate panels but it’s safe to say it won’t happen again!

Electrician will be installing black lighting fixtures next week to finish it off.

The customer had a leak through the ceiling due to incorrect installation of the shower tray, with the shower tray being installed up to the tiles on one side of the tray, rather than tiling down to the tray.

The leak was resolved with the tray being cleaned up, trap replaced and a new enclosure, shower, basin and toilet seat installed.

Bathroom was very tight for space, so we removed the bidet, replaced the bath with a smaller bath that had a curve to allow the door to open more freely, whilst making use of the existing boxing to allow for more storage above.
