Manufactured to the the very highest standards by Alisport Srl, in Italy, the SILENT 2 Electro - is a new generation self-launching microlight glider to fit the new FAI 13.5m class. With a highly efficient brushless electric motor installed in the nose, the SILENT 2 Electro is capable of both unassisted take-off and shorter periods of powered flight - as may be required to sustain soaring flight.

I have always been a keen advocate in the Forward Electric Sustainer (FES) and the SILENT 2 Electro combines this with a superbly engineered, lightweight airframe, capable of self-launching. The combination is expected to offer significant new opportunities for recreational pilots.
