We are excited to announce an exciting milestone for Anavo. On Friday 18th September, we’ll open our first marketing suite at Homewell Spring, Anavo’s new purpose-built care home in Havant. ✨

The suite will offer an early insight into the home, with a selection of completed rooms showcasing the thoughtful design, comfort and attention to detail that will shape life at Homewell Spring.

To mark the opening, we’ll be hosting an Open Day for prospective residents, families, professionals and members of the local community to meet Home Manager Panagiota and the team and learn more about the home.

This represents another important step in Homewell Spring’s journey, and we’re looking forward to welcoming our first visitors. To learn more about Homewell Spring, go to

Our founders are taking on the biggest challenge of our 'Miles That Matter' fundraiser! 🚴‍♂️

In just three weeks our founders Edward Moore & Jamie Braganza alongside Development Director Chris Stone will cycle 450km in three days from Brampton Lodge in Warrington to our new Care home Homewell Spring in Havant.

It’s all part of our company-wide mission to collectively travel 500 miles (the distance between all our homes) and raise £10,000 for The Care Workers' Charity during Care Workers’ Week.

Every donation and share will help make a difference. Please support the team through the fundraising link: https://www.justgiving.com/page/anavomilesthatmatter

You might be wondering how all 16 Anavo homes will collectively travel 500 miles in just one week.

The answer is that every mile will look a little different.

Our 'Miles That Matter' fundraising activities have been adapted so that everyone can play a part. Residents, families and colleagues will be clocking up the miles through laps of gardens and corridors, dancing, seated movement, cycling and community walks.

Some homes are taking on their own creative challenges too, including danceathons, fancy-dress walks, reservoir walks and even climbs of Ben Nevis and Snowdon. Every activity will count towards our shared 500-mile target. It’s all happening during Care Workers Week, 12th–19th September, as we aim to raise £10,000 for The The Care Workers' Charity.

Take a look through the slides to see how our homes are getting involved. To support Miles That Matter and help us reach our fundraising target, visit our JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/team/anavo-care?utm_medium=TE&utm_source=CL

Following its latest CQC assessment, Anavo's Lindridge Care Home has received an overall rating of Good, alongside the highest possible score of 4 in two key areas – Capable, compassionate and inclusive leaders and Planning for the future.

CQC praised the home’s visible and supportive leadership team and recognised the way colleagues put residents at the heart of decisions, adapting care around each person’s individual needs, wishes and circumstances.

The report also highlighted the team’s passion for enabling residents to “live their best lives”, as well as Lindridge’s focus on supporting and developing colleagues to create a skilled and confident team.

An amazing achievement and well-deserved recognition for the whole Lindridge team. đź’š

We’re getting ready for our biggest Anavo-wide challenge yet!

This September, all 16 Anavo homes are coming together for Miles That Matter, with one shared goal – to collectively travel 500 miles, the distance between our homes, and raise £10,000 for The Care Workers' Charity.

What we love most about the challenge is that everyone can play a part. From adapted movement activities for residents and community events to some much bigger challenges from our Senior Leadership Team, our homes are finding their own ways to clock up the miles.

It’s all happening during Care Workers Week, 12th–19th September, and we can’t wait to share more of what our homes and teams have planned. To get behind Miles That Matter and help us reach our £10,000 target, you can support us through our JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/team/anavo-care?utm_medium=TE&utm_source=CL

At Anavo, we've launched 'Anavo Pen Pals', a simple initiative connecting residents across our homes through handwritten letters.

Our first pairing between Hailsham House and Surbitonian Gardens has already seen residents sharing stories, memories and everyday moments, while building friendships with people they may never otherwise have met.

Supported by our Activities Teams, residents enjoy every step of the experience, from writing their letters to the excitement of receiving a reply.

This initiative is all about creating meaningful connections, encouraging conversation and reminding residents they're part of a wider Anavo community.

We're looking forward to expanding Anavo Pen Pals across more of our homes and, in time, bringing pen pals together through face to face visits. To learn more about the initiative, please click here: https://www.anavogroup.com/anavo-pen-pals-bringing-residents-together-across-our-homes/

Not everyone follows a straight path into their career and Chris is no exception.

From working weekends at a garden centre while still at school to becoming Development Director at Anavo, Chris Stone's career has taken him through construction, quantity surveying and project management before finding his place in the care sector.

What keeps him motivated is seeing the impact of every project. For Chris, it's about more than constructing buildings, it's about creating homes where people can feel safe, supported and part of a community for years to come.
