Armour not earthed, just STUFFED into the wall. Many other things wrong. Customer in bits with it all. It’s right now and his house now has some discrimination on the circuits instead of just 1 RCD for the whole property.

Big shout out to Ah mobile tyre fitting service 24/7 who rescued us today. Turns out we had the wrong tyre fitted by others which was leaking. Working at a customers house noticed the tyre had gone flat on their drive. What else could we do but rely on these good guys. Thank you.

So much time is un-chargable. People don’t get that. Wages. Tax. National insurance. Shopping time. Certification time. Travelling time. Admin quoting / invoicing. Chasing payments. Training. Insurance. Membership to stupid CPS schemes. Insurance. Vehicle maintenance. Vehicle tax and insurance / loans. Tools. Calibration. Time lost training apprentices. Tool replenishment. Job management Software. Certification software. Tax software. Accountant fees. Bank fees. Oh and the big one, Starmer’s cut.

I seen this post in a trades forum … and it got me thinking …

When you present a rate to your customer like this … or your customer hears or even reads a rate like this

The default response will be… they are earning more than me and that won’t feel good for them

We all know that the comparisons can’t be made but they still will

Customer will buy a result at this rate if they see enough value in the result you’re offering with this rate embedded into it

Sell results not time and you’ll do soooooo much better

Totally independant and the prices reflect this .

Had one of my dogs there tonight, Roly’s a very anxious boy. The care and attention that the team show is impeccable.
We were given a tour of the whole practice too, which gives reassurance that your pet will be looked after to a high standard.
Everything on site ie blood lab, X-ray, ultra sound, seperate operating theatres for dental and more intense needs.
Seperate area and consultation room for cats .
We were not felt rushed and felt they actually care for your pet.
