Project Overview: Installation of Armoured Cable Throughout Sleepers

As part of our ongoing collaboration with BackGarden, we undertook the installation of armoured cable along a series of wooden sleepers. The project aimed to ensure safe and reliable electrical connectivity for outdoor lighting.

Key Tasks and Materials Used:

Installation of Armoured Cable:

Carefully laid armoured cable throughout the designated sleepers.
Ensured all connections were secure to minimize the risk of damage.

Adaptable Box Connection:

Connected the armoured cable to an adaptable junction box, facilitating safe and efficient electrical distribution.

Water Resistance:

Applied Wiska seal gel at connection points to ensure long-lasting performance and water resistance, protecting against outdoor elements.

Measurements and Alignment:

Measured the spacing and alignment of all sleepers to ensure that the lighting fixtures were evenly distributed and aesthetically pleasing.

Testing and Certification:

Upon completion of the installation, we conducted thorough testing of the entire system.

Installed two darts boards with fitted surrounds and lighting.
Set up two double sockets for the darts boards, using the conduit method for wiring, with cables secured in the ceiling.

Track Light System:

Installed a track lighting system, prepped and ready for the ping pong table setup.

iPad Power Points:

Installed two power points for iPads around the club. This system is a portal-type setup, enabling members to book bowling greens both online and on-site.

TV Installation:

Installed a TV with power supply and Ethernet cable to display the timetable for bowling greens, allowing members to view the schedule for both their own and others’ booking times. 🎯
