The warm, welcoming design layers earthy tones with pops of gold and orange, evoking the richness of Indian cuisine and creating a truly dynamic dining experience.

Stephen George + Partners (SGP) acted as delivery architects for a 150,000 sqft facility for Herman Miller, which includes a purpose-built production and storage warehouse alongside 25,000 sqft of ancillary office space. The project was completed within a 9-month construction programme, with the most complex element being the CAM area. Comprising the offices, canteen, and central ‘Street’. While SGP did not design the original warehouse and office spaces, we were responsible for their successful delivery on site.

SGP were then commissioned to design and deliver the second phase of the project. A seamless extension to the office facilities within the existing building. The extension fully realises and enhances the original architectural intent, with office functions wrapped around the central ‘design street’ to create dynamic, light-filled spaces that support staff well-being and encourage collaboration through improved internal and external connections.

We kicked off the RIBA Mentoring Scheme this year by welcoming groups of enthusiastic university students into our office!

This year, we’re excited to be working with 2nd-year students from Loughborough Uni and 3rd-year students from Nottingham Trent and Nottingham Uni.

These students are about to take a year out in practice, and we’re here to guide and inspire them on their journey.

We can’t wait to see how these talented future architects progress in their future careers.

Stephen George + Partners (SGP) is delighted to announce the completion of 21 single-storey industrial units at Blackbird Industrial Park in Leicester, formerly Leicester City Council housing depot. Working for client Brackley Property Developments Ltd Development, SGP has transformed the unused site into a hub for small to medium-sized light industrial businesses, with four buildings, car parking, servicing areas, cycle storage, and associated landscaping.

The new units are of varying sizes, from 70 sqm to 232 sqm, offering flexibility for a range of businesses, and particularly aiming to address the demand for high-quality commercial employment workspace for start-up and growing businesses in the city.

Sustainability is an important aspect of the development. The scheme will deliver a biodiversity net gain of 57.5% through enhancing the existing mixed scrub, which can support a range of wildlife including birds, small mammals and invertebrates, and developing new green spaces with neutral grassland and wildflower meadow.

Stephen George + Partners (SGP) has completed the base build for a new 240 sqm Popeyes Fast Food Restaurant with drive-thru at Teal Park, a popular mixed-use development on the eastern edge of Nottingham. Featuring eye-catching design & prime location, it’s part of Popeyes’ UK expansion goal of 350 sites in 10 years.

We’re inviting creative minds (ages 15 and under) to help Santa make his workshop eco-friendly! This fun, free competition encourages kids to design a sustainable workshop, with prizes to be won!

Young creators are encouraged to think big – from sustainable materials to energy-efficient heating, the goal is to help Santa’s workshop operate in a climate-friendly way that even the polar bears would approve of! 🌎💚
