The notion behind the venture was to create an environment where imaginative ideas with a spiritual dimension could be brought to life. Julie Ann had long dreamed of writing a book and this new joint enterprise, combining business and spirituality, gave her the platform to achieve her dream. What she h

adn’t realised at the time was that she, with no formal art training, would have to illustrate them too! The decision to call the new creative setting the ‘maze’ was because Julie Ann and Alan believe that life can be like a maze. Since writing and illustrating two books Julie Ann has developed her love of painting with water colours. Encouraged by Alan and motivated by her need to bring images held in her imagination to reality, Julie Ann created a number of pieces which were put on show at her first art exhibition called ‘Living in The Maze’ in the summer of 2013. The book ‘The Angel at the Bottom of the Garden’ inspired Julie Ann to develop a play called ‘The Garden’. Performed by ‘Selah’, Christian theatre group, the play went on tour in the summer of 2013.
