Over the last couple of years, this row of Leylandii had started to slowly deteriorate, regularly losing large sections.

With 15 trees standing at approximately 75ft tall, this was a sizeable removal. In total, we produced around 15 tonnes of woodchip, while a similar amount of timber was stacked on site for future processing into logs.

The client has plans to replant the area with native trees, creating a woodland corner that will be more sustainable and provide a better habitat for local wildlife.

A big transformation for this part of the garden — from a row of declining Leylandii to the start of something much more natural.

Monday’s removal

This Ash tree had unfortunately outgrown its surroundings and was beginning to cause issues due to its close proximity to the property.

With the right team and equipment, the tree was dismantled safely and efficiently with minimal disruption to the surrounding area.

Another happy customer and another job completed, on to the next. 💪

After 10 years of management on a very special private estate it was time to remove this Beech tree.
Riddled with Ganoderma and Dryads Saddle, for many years the tree hung on until this summer.
In the past we have carried out two reductions to help ease the pressure on the canopy and base which certainly helped keep the tree in place during its managed decline.
Thankfully the estate owner loves his trees and has already planted multiple new Beech trees in the area alongside hundreds of other large specimens across the estate.

The other week we were able to work on this really special Oak tree at . The spec was to reduce the overextended sections of the canopy to reduce potential wind damage along with the removal of heavy/dangerous dead branches. Being the centre piece to the entire course we focused on correct pruning over creating a “perfect shape” so we can enjoy it for many more years.
