⚡ Small Job – Big Importance
Carried out a small but important job this week for a business in Saffron Walden — replacing a damaged socket and back box in a listed building.
On the surface it looked like a minor issue, but the socket had become unsafe and needed sorting properly to prevent any risk going forward.
Working in older and listed buildings always requires extra care to make sure everything is safe, compliant, and in keeping with the property.
It’s a good reminder that even small electrical faults shouldn’t be ignored — things like cracked sockets, loose fittings, or damaged back boxes can quickly become bigger problems if left.
💡 A quick tip:
If something doesn’t look right or feels loose, it’s always worth getting it checked sooner rather than later. It’s usually a quick fix — and far better than dealing with a bigger issue down the line.
If you’re local and need any electrical work — big or small — I’m always happy to help or offer advice 👍
