Non-stop last week , apart from the times looking after my unwell boys , but we get through it.
Me and my eldest lad worked on the roof this afternoon to get as many tiles as we could get in with this weather and loaded out hopefully for tomorrow.

Big week next week, getting a few jobs all finished off and onto the next projects !

Productive weekend at mine , nonstop grafting, and now watertight as can be until the Leadwork is done one the tiles are laid.
Finished all the felt and batterns off , ready for the remaining two hips to have the batterns installed when the time comes.
Cleared all the waste and cut up the old batterns, sorted the timbers out ready for people to collect for their log burners in the area.
Moved s**t loads of bricks into the back, ready for the landscaping to be done there when the time comes.
Installed the eaves trays and reinstalled the bottom batterns .
Finally, I loaded out another pallet of tiles to keep plodding on in the evenings .

Fully working suite, ready ladt bits of electrics and then I can close up the end of the bath tub. New door and framework to fit once they arrive.

I and my son have worked non stop this weekend doing the roof works to the family home , time is ticking away and we cannot have a break at the moment but we don't stop when we get back on it in-between work and commitments .

What a week this has been! Challenging to say the least . Whatever could go wrong this week did and couldn't be helped, but you get these types of things sometimes, and it's the strong that adapt and survive through difficult periods that set us apart from the rest!
Results speak for themselves on this bathroom, which has a few more days working for completion and the kitchen renovation a couple of more days, and that shall be completed too.

95% of all tiles finally fitted on this one . It's been a challenging task but one that I have completed. (Fit the end of the bath after 2nd fix and around the door frame after 2nd fix, too)
All ready now for cleaning and grouting tomorrow.
Mitre trims, in my personal opinion, always look 10 times better than trims butted up together, especially when you know how to do them properly! Just hate cutting them as they are very time-consuming.

Big push this weekend with the roof .
Valleys installed , scaffolding restarted to get up to roof height next week ready to strip and complete this roof .
Brilliant help today from my two boys and the amazing Mrs who even got up on our make shift tressels and got stuck into the roofing after moving loads of heavy bricks !
Memories and moments that we will all never forget!
