Key Security Systems Ltd. COVID-19 statement

We wanted to provide an update on how our team is handling the global coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

While we continue to remain open to serve our existing and new customers, the health and safety of our customers and employees is our highest priority. We’ve discussed with our employees more proactive measures -encouraging them to wash their hands more often, for at least twenty seconds each time and to take all steps necessary to mitigate the risk of catching Covid-19. We have provided hand sanitising gel in our office and vans and vinyl gloves where required.

We have followed guidelines issued by the National Health Service & UK Government and will continue to do so during the fluidity of the situation, as things are currently changing on a daily basis. We aim to stay open until advised otherwise.

To help limit the risk of contact and spread of any virus, we encourage you to consider lightly wiping down any panels, keypads and keyfobs with an antibacterial wipe. Especially so if shared with other people or in business or public premises.
(DO NOT SPRAY OR POUR ANY LIQUIDS INCLUDING HAND SANITISER ONTO ELECTRONIC DEVICES OR KEYFOBS, THEY ARE NOT WATER RESISTANT!)

As the situation changes, we ask if you could please be patient in the coming weeks, we may have to deal with enquiries, technical support, call outs and faults in order of priority. Our phone lines will always remain open.

We must respectfully insist that if you are in isolation or are displaying any of the symptoms of Corona virus, you inform us before any scheduled engineer visit or call-out to the premises, including new installations. We would then discuss your options with you. This is vital for the health and safety of employees, their families and the wider community. This is extremely important and will apply for the foreseeable future.

We have worked with suppliers and are more than confident that if this continues we have enough stock of main components for the coming weeks/ months ahead. Albeit, unfortunately we must remind you that this is an unpredictable event and there might be delays sourcing some components due to circumstances beyond our control.

We will continue to communicate with our customers should the situation change further.

We have received reports of a distraction burglary where an elderly female has been approached by a door to door salesman presenting the ID badge shown here.

We're highlighting the recent incident as elderly friends and family will be self isolating and may fall victim due to this; being presented with as it states, 'goods that will be of use to you today'.

After research into the company name, this is something more common in the North East & Yorkshire areas however please be vigilant.
