Water damaged ceiling from a bathroom above, not for the first time by the looks of it 😩

Removed the existing filler and peeling paint and gave it a quick coat of peel stop.

Refilled the area and smoothed it out before giving a coat or two of BIN primer.

Two coats of paint and should dry seamless 👍🏻

Panels on panels on panels! Garage gym project for a customer today. Pitched roof, wall mirrors, sockets and steels to deal with a lot of tricky cuts. Long day but we got there.

Another happy customer and a car full of cardboard 😂

Peeling paint, its going to look worse before it looks better 😅 poorly prepped plaster, moisture or numerous other factors can cause paint to bubble and peel.

Step one was to remove as much peeling paint as possible leaving any decent paint on the wall.

A good coat of peel stop allowing it to fully dry.

A thin layer or two of filler to fill out areas where the paint was removed, this will give the wall a smooth uniform finish after and a good sand down once dry.

Good coat of paint to finish off.

Tiled splash back for a customer who’d recently had a kitchen fitted and wanted some additions. Used the laser level to ensure the same height over both surfaces now ready for the painter to finish off.

I also clad the larder with acoustic paneling to add a bit more contrast to the room. Another happy customer.

Today’s job - dismantle a garden wall and rebuild for a regular customer. Unfortunately a bush had been growing between the brick work laying down thick roots that spread the full length of the cavity forcing bricks out of place.

A few bricks were missing but managed to find some that matched (old Victorian bricks are fairly hard to come by but I’ve got a contact if you’re in need 😂).

As summer comes to an end and the heating starts to go on it’s not only us looking for warmth.

Now’s the best time to prevent unwanted guests, I fitted 15 of these rodent guards over the weekend for a lovely customer who is based in a more rural area.

I make these to measure out of a galvanized steel mesh meaning they keep the rust away for longer.
