Customers have been asking me how to keep heating bills down this winter so here are a couple of tips that are worth trying. 1. Adjust your thermostat down, especially on slightly warmer days. The NHS says your house should be 18 degrees and not less than 16. Especially if you have vulnerable people in the house. 2. Make sure all of your radiator is warm. if its not your boiler will be working harder and for longer. 3. check your boiler pressure. there are loads of youtube videos which show you how. Check the recommended pressure in your Manufacturer's instructions. Low pressure can cause your radiators not to heat up efficiently.
