🚀 Exciting News from PestGone Environmental

I’m truly delighted to share that PestGone Environmental has officially joined the JG Pest Control family operated under Vergo/Tyro Group

Over the years, I’ve admired James Gale and the JG team from afar — their professionalism, innovation, and customer-first ethos have long set a benchmark within our industry. Their standards and approach have inspired many aspects of how I’ve shaped and grown PestGone, so this partnership feels like a natural progression for the business.

When the opportunity arose to bring our two companies together, it felt like an exciting and logical next step. I’m confident that under the JG Pest Control banner, PestGone will continue to grow, thrive, and reach new heights.

I’ll be remaining involved during the transition to help ensure a smooth handover for our valued customers and team.

To***co Beetle: A customer had an ongoing issue with small brown beetles being found near the living room window.

We were called and found them to be traveling from the kitchen and to be located in the stored food cupboard. After removing all the open stored food, the problem was still present weeks later.

After a further infestation we found years old mice poison under the kitchen units that the beetles were using as their food source. Which was made more clear by them being stuck to an old mouse glue board.

GLUE BOARDS ARE NOW BANNED IN THE UK AND CAN ONLY BE USED UNDER SPECIALIST (eye watering expensive) LICENCES.

Bedbugs are a parasite that rely on blood to survive. They will usually nest within 2 meters of a reliable blood meal, in nearly all cases a person sleeping (hence the name).

We always get an increase of German cockroaches at this time of year. Yes, nearly all insects are more prevalent in the summer but we find that people bringing foods back from Africa tend to harbour little crawling surprises in the form of German Cockroaches.

This rat outsmarted us on the first visit by nibbling around the liquorice Allsort secured to the Black Cat trap, leaving only the last remaining bit under the trigger arm.
Two tempting Allsorts placed next to the trigger arm allsort lured the rat into a false sense of security.

This highlights our point that we spoke about on the News on Monday.
This rubbish was seen outside a takeaway shop in Tooting just off the high street. There’s food waste and tinfoil covered in cooking sauce. It’s asking for trouble.

This post isn’t to shame anyone but to highlight the fact that the reason places like Tooting are teeming with rats and mice is because of this unsocial behaviour.
