As autumn arrives, the garden's layers reveal themselves anew, with lines becoming more distinct and hues growing more vivid. With this a stillness takes hold, time to pause and take it all in, before the seasons change again and the garden transitions into Winter.

The first phase of our Oast + Barn garden is in it's first Autumn, so quickly settling in to it's natural rhythm. In the studio, we're preparing the return to site in the Spring to create phase two.

A weekend walk in the woods was made so much richer for slowing down to look out for fungi on the woodland floor. We spotted around 20 different types, all so intricate and architectural and a colour palette so harmonious and beautiful with the autumn leaves; how amazing nature is.

The book Entangled Life by .sheldrake is a must read for anyone fascinated by fungal life.
