From prep to pour…

Another step closer to transforming this space. Today was all about the groundwork – insulation installed, damp proof membrane laid and the screed poured.

It’s the stage you won’t see once the floor is finished, but it’s one of the most important parts of creating a warm, energy-efficient extension built to last.

Every detail matters, and we’re looking forward to showing you the finished result. Stay tuned for the next update!

Brickwork progress coming together nicely.

The outer walls are now taking shape, defining the new extension and transforming the space day by day. From the detailed stepped brickwork to the clean boundary walls, every course is being laid with precision and care.

A lot of work goes into getting these stages right:
✔️ Accurate setting out
✔️ Matching brickwork
✔️ Strong structural detailing
✔️ Clean, consistent finish

Great to see the project really starting to look like a home extension now.

Another big milestone on this extension build

Groundworks coming together nicely — footings in, drainage installed, and base compacted ready for the slab pour. Final stage here was getting the concrete down to create a solid foundation for what’s coming next.

I can’t believe we have to post this again after it was taken 18 months ago and recovered, but early this-morning around 1 am my car was stolen again. This time the tracker was switched off by the thieves. Can you keep your eyes open and help me get my car back please 🤞🤞🤞
