🏙️ High in the Canary Wharf sky line come find me telling tales as part of Alfresco Arts

⛳️ Families enjoy free film screenings, crazy golf, shows & workshops & spaces to explore

🏖️ I’m back high in the sky this Sun 2nd Aug for We’re Going On a Treasure Hunt

🛶 Hop aboard at 10:00,11:30 & 2:00 to join The Bunnies of Hoppity Hill for an adventure.

🌊 I had a delightful day joining Brighton College Prep School for Speech Day Brighton College Prep School

🏆 Presenting awards & cups for academic achievement, sports, creativity & character.

🎤 My speech was about filling your cup with things you love & carving your squiggly path.

🚪I shared my squiggly path to story telling. Learning to lean in to how my mind works & deciding I could do things … differently.

🔑 I talked about exercising imaginations & the power to wonder “what if” as the key to every invention, idea, discovery & story.

☕️ We of course had time for tea to raise a cup to the things that bring us joy, magic moments & toast our and each other’s successes!

🏖️ Blown away by the imagination education, on offer including early years Beach School! 🥇

🌺 Heartfelt thank you to staff, students & parents for the warmest welcome and flowers.

🔔 Another brilliant day organised by Ellie .ofbooks before schools out for Summer. Already planning popping back to Brighton to read on the beach with the vegan fish & chips I’ve been well informed should not have been missed and see Brighton book pals.

❓Q&A Did I do a quick change into a frock in Brighton library like Mrs Doubtfire? Yes.

🍊A recent kind invitation to The Orangery Bloomsbury Children’s Books HQ to host a showcase

🎤 A speedy series of chats & snoops at new books for the amazing folks who get books into kids hands? Yes please & thank you!

⭐️Imagine my joy at chatting to this stellar line up Katherine Rundell HQ Ella Risbridger Matt Bawler .e.draw Kate Pankhurst about their new titles out soon.

📚 We delved into a broad stack of books from delicious picture books for cosy warm weekends, social emotional stories created in the classroom, novelty books packed with empowering histories, graphic novels with a giant heart, middle grade epic feasts & quests (and equally epic ‘book research’) and an illustrated compendium of answers to very BIG questions.

❤️ My story exploring heart was very happy!

👩‍🍳 Sat 27th - Story chefs get set to follow a speedy recipe for a mixed up fairy tale!

🥄 On your marks as we sprinkle a few NEW ingredients for a different flavour of happily ever after. Fans of ‘The Gingerbread Disaster.’

👷 Sun 28th - Story builders assemble to build the blocks of a fairy tale that has lost the plot!

🧱 Safety first as we raise the roof and test tools of the trade to build a tall tale that even a Big Bad you-know-who couldn’t topple.

📚 Expect interactive story building packed with songs, rhymes and games. Come & earn your story chef stickers & story builder badges.

🎲 Exercise young imaginations and try out new ways to tell tales through imaginative play.
