πΏ Sometimes we get called in for the strangest reasons...
Had a job last week where a customer had been left a house in his relatives will. He lives a couple hours away, just wants to get it sold and sorted. Only problem? The garden had basically turned into a jungle while the house sat empty.
The estate agent actually rang US about it, and said people were coming to view the house, taking one look out the back window at the jungle out there, and losing interest before they'd even seen the kitchen.
Grass up to your knees, brambles taking over, an apple tree that had gone full triffid under a mountain of ivy, random junk piled everywhere. Not exactly "move-in ready."
So we rocked up, strimmed the lot, mowed it properly, ripped out the overgrown mess along the fence, cleared all the old rubbish and pots, and gave it a proper tidy. Few hours later, a completely different garden. You can actually see the patio, the lawn, the fence, all of it. π
Funny how much a garden can make or break a house sale. Nobody wants to imagine themselves living somewhere if the garden looks like it's reclaiming itself.
If you've inherited a place, you're selling up, or your garden's just gotten away from you a bit, give us a shout on 020 8206 1073. We'll sort it, no judgement! π³
