Super happy with this stylish yet functional addition to the Clapham patio garden. This space was originally a hidden corner for the table tennis table, but now it’s got a roof over its head, it’s perfect for storing garden cushions and bikes in the dry. And the guttering at the back will water the flowerbed - bonus!

Whatchoo lookin’ at?
A simple fix for this design conundrum. Lovely as the olive trees and parterre are, their positioning draws the eye straight to the kids basketball/ table tennis area and highlights the fence boundaries. The solution is, of course, more plants! Some gorgeous fat pots with some evergreen zing give a new focal point and a feeling of privacy around the seating area.

Quick get-away to Cordoba to warm up and escape the biblical rain at home. Hadn’t realised but turns out this city is known for its gardens, particularly the courtyard patios where they hold an annual competition for the best dressed. Given me loads of inspiration for my small London spaces. Winner!
