Due to expansion and purchase of new machinery Lancashire Crushers Ltd are currently looking for a NPORS or CPCS crusher or screener operators from the North/middle of England Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Doncaster, Cumbria, Burnley, Hull, Nottingham, Durham, Newcastle also Peterborough or willing to travel and stop out Monday to Friday for immediate start. Must have crusher or screener category, other categories desirable but not essential. Immediate start available. 🌟 IMMEDIATE START 🌟
🌟 MOBILE FITTER/ ENGINEER 🌟
Due to expansion Lancashire Crushers LTD are currently recruiting mobile fitters/engineers in Lancashire and Yorkshire. The fitter/engineer will be required to work on sites throughout the UK with occasionally work at our depot near Preston.
Some of the duties include:
- Maintenance and fitting duties on a wide range of heavy plant including crushers - powerscreen, Sandvik, keestrack, screeners, excavators, stacking conveyors and loading shovels. Machines are 20 tonne+
- Keeping accurate records of plant inspections and repairs.
- Welding skills desirable but not essential
- Working as part of a team to complete tasks or able to work alone
- Carrying out any mechanical repairs and maintenance duties for example changing meshes, servicing machines, changing bearings, changing jaws, electrical faults
- CSCS, CPCS, NPORS, Quarry Passport, or equivalent desirable but not essential
The above list is not exhaustive and you may be required to take on other duties and responsibilities for the effective and efficient performance of your role.
Essential Criteria:
- 2 years post qualification experience working as a plant fitter/ engineer
- Experience and competency of fault-finding, maintenance and repair of heavy duty construction plant
- Have experience of working with minimum supervision
- Knowledge and awareness of Health, Safety and Welfare practice and legislation, with experience of on-site construction situations
- Ability to work in a team or alone environment
- Must have own tools
