A break in the rain allowed me to tackle our New Longton clay and remove 15 meters of well-established, 60-year-old privet hedge.

I usually advocate for a good hedge over a fence because they’re so brilliant for our local wildlife. But this hedge had done its time, and the goal here was to reclaim some space and light. It's very satisfying to see the transformation.
