The 2nd lift is going up and the trusses are now on site ready for the next stage! 🏠💪

Hopefully the weather stays on our side and we’ll have the wall plate ready next week, which means it’ll soon be time to get the crane on site and get these trusses up! 🚀

Another week of cracking progress — starting to really take shape now! 🔨

🏡 FINALLY… A BIT OF TIME FOR OUR OWN PROJECT! 👌

After being flat out on customers’ jobs, we finally had a bit of spare time this weekend to get the slabbing finished at our own project, Angels Lodge — and it’s looking absolutely spot on! 🔥

Just a little more topsoil to get in and the whole back garden is finished. 🙌

Inside, there’s only a little bit of plumbing left to tick off before we can get stuck into the plastering and really start seeing the house come together.

It’s been a long project, but we’re getting closer and closer to the finish line! 💪🏡

ANOTHER FEW JOBS TICKED OFF THE LIST! 🔨

It’s been another busy one at J1 Homes, getting a few jobs finished off and ready for the next stage!

🏠 Fascia & soffit — the last bits are now all finished.
🌳 Oak beam — fitted and ready for the kitchen to be plastered.
🏡 Flat roof — old roof ripped off and replaced with a fully fibreglassed GRP roof. Another job that’s now watertight and built to last!

There’s nothing better than seeing a job go from an old, tired space to something completely transformed. 💪

☀️ Solar panels are in! 🏠

The panels are now installed and the hip is slated, so we’re moving onto the back of the roof and cracking on.

We’re cracking on nicely with this extension and the progress is really starting to show.

The trusses are ordered for the end of next week, so hopefully, if the weather stays on our side, we won’t be far away from getting them on and getting this one weather tight. 💪

Another busy week at J1 Homes 🏡🔨

It’s been another busy week for the team at J1 Homes, with plenty of progress across our projects.

The retaining wall is now finished, with the chalk down and preparations underway for some beautiful Indian sandstone paving. We can’t wait to see this area come together!

Our other extension is ready for the joists and boarding, and everything is moving along smoothly with no issues — exactly how we like it! 💪

The solar panels have also arrived for the new slate roof, with the trays already installed and ready panels. ☀️🏠

Another Porch Complete 🏡✨

Another new porch finished and what a transformation! Rendered, wired, skimmed and painted — completely finished and ready for the customer to enjoy.

The client is absolutely over the moon and already can’t wait for us to get back and start the next extension! 👌

Retaining Wall Taking Shape 🧱🔥

This retaining wall is coming on nicely and we’ll be back tomorrow to get it finished. These bricks look absolutely spot on, especially with the white cement — really makes the detail stand out.

Next up is building the steps into the wall, then we can get cracking with the slabbing. 👌

It’s amazing how much more usable space this wall has created. Another area completely transformed and starting to come together nicely!
