Subcontracting for PCT Carpentry Ltd, following the discovery of a roof leak during a property refurb project they were conducting. project. With the homeowner also funding other projects around the property being completed by PCT Carpentry Ltd, a full re-roof wasn’t the most practical or cost-effective option.

Following our assessment, we recommended a partial re-roof, replacing only the areas that had reached the end of their serviceable life and causing leaks, while retaining the sections that were still performing well.

Another chimney restored and protected. We recently carried out a chimney re-flaunching, removing the old cracked mortar around the chimney pot and installing new flaunching to secure and protect the stack.

Flaunching is the cement mortar that holds the chimney pot in place and directs rainwater away from the stack, helping prevent water damage.

This roof was partially stripped back and fully upgraded to ensure long-term protection against the coastal weather.
