We have been extremely silent on the social media front over the last few months! Something had to give! It’s been such an unbelievably busy time and between putting our customers needs first, along with working tirelessly to recruit the best additions to our growing team… throw in moving our entire Johnson GHP office all whilst continuing to scope the wide ranging projects we are lucky enough to be involved in!!! It’s been quite a ride!!!

Two of the best engineers we had the pleasure of working with on the Bbc Diy Sos project. Some great like minded friends and contact’s made over the last couple of weeks. We all felt the impact of this amazing story and worked brilliantly together to see it through. ❤️🙏🏻

It’s a week since the handover to Dan and his family. This week for us has been about catching up, getting estimates up to date and continuing our work with our fabulous, loyal customers- thank you for your patience!

It was great to pop into see Dans family yesterday- seeing to a small leak that’s cropped up following completion of the work. To see this house become their home is so rewarding. Looking forward to sharing this amazing experience with you all when it’s broadcast later in the year hopefully.

Sunday slog this morning - As always it was all well worth it once we got to the DIY SOS Freckleton site for Day 5!

Our small Gas Heating & Plumbing team have absolutely smashed it over the weekend. Huge progress made and we now have a good clear plan for the days ahead to bring everything together 👌🏻🎉

Such a collective effort along side hardworking electricians, plasterers, joiners, brickies, landscapers, roofers and a whole host of incredible volunteers - I will say it again, it’s honestly a privilege on a personal level. Johnson GHP are loving being part of making this family home a reality for Daniel. 💜

Back to today- we were given a lunchtime boost with a fabulous Sunday Roast and Eton Mess - this really helped us to push through!

Greg even turned his hand to hedge cutting today mid brew stop, when a determined volunteer was making great efforts but was being a bit defeated!

Bring on Monday- we really can do this! 💪🏻🤩🎉

Well…. We had some help from a World Strongest Man Legend today!

Fantastic job done by Mark Felix ( ) . He came to put a shift in with the hard working team of plasterers!

Greg may not have met his match on the height front but he certainly wouldn’t like to compete on strength!

It’s been an action packed few days on the DIY SOS Freckleton project. From our very first meeting , learning more about the amazing family at the heart of this mission we knew it was a given that Johnson GHP Ltd would be involved.

Over the last few weeks, Greg has worked tirelessly with the DIY SOS site managers to nail the plans for all aspects of Gas, Heating & Plumbing on the job. Lots of changes to those plans along the way just last week and even this week but that’s the nature of a job like this! Adapting and finding a way!!!

It’s now about bringing those plans to life and as we begin Day 4 it’s looking achievable- an overwhelming amount to be done by next Thursday but the efforts from every single volunteer on site are bringing this together!

It’s incredible to be part of this- Dan and his family can begin their new normal once they get home. Back as a family. Anyone who lives in hospital for a period of time… even a few days knows how gruelling that can be. Home is where he belongs. Home is where he will thrive.

It’s a privilege to be part of this Big Build. Onwards to getting this beast of a project done!

A busy Day Two for the DIY SOS project…. We finally started to be able to make some headway with pipework and first fixing. Working in tight spaces with multiple trades is a challenge but the hard work is starting to pay off! Onto Day 3! 🎉😃👌🏻

Amongst our many Domestic and Commercial projects on the go, this one touches our heart perhaps more than most….
Greg is really honoured to have been approached to lead a large Gas Heating & Plumbing team on the huge upcoming DIY SOS project over the next couple of weeks.

It’s a great feeling to work within our community for an incredible cause with some great tradesmen from across the north west.

Being a family business, this is a privilege to be part of. We are very much running as normal but on the sidelines Greg’s prepping for what will be an amazing challenge with a brilliant, life changing result for one very inspiring family 💜👌🏻🌟
