I'm excited to share my latest and most favourite project — a full patio overhaul that has completely elevated the space this property had.
Working closely with the customer, we envisioned a design that would increase the size of the patio, while also making it a beautiful, functional and secure space for the lovely lady and her beloved cats.
We went with the following plan:
• Rip out the old tarmac drive, patio and gate side of the fence.
• Create two patio areas with gradients set towards a new ACO drainage system to ensure rainfall is managed.
• Both patios to be laid with the gorgeous "Sunset Buff" Indian Sandstone.
• Build three timber sleeper flowerbeds that enhance the aesthetic and functionality of the space.
• Install a new fenceline that ties into the current perimeter and determines the boundary of the property.
• Last but certainly not least, create a safe space for the feline friends by fitting specialised catproofing around the whole patio.
Adding in a recess manhole cover, a few golden gravel edges and fixing new ironmongery to the original gate were the extra details we thought would put a bit more glitter on an already golden design!
