You can't stop the price cap rising. You can control how much of your bill is ever exposed to it.
Ofgem confirmed this morning that the cap is rising 4% from 1 October, taking the typical household bill from ยฃ1,663 to ยฃ1,723 a year. It's the fourth rise in two years.
Solar alone typically covers 30 to 50% of a propertyโs direct energy use. Add battery storage and smart energy management, and that climbs to 60-80%, so most of the bill falls outside the reach of the next announcement.
If you want to know what that could look like for your own property, get in touch and we'll walk you through the numbers.
