Matrafisc dance was created by two young artists and their common desire to research and express using the language of choreography. It is an expression that showcases their artistic and training differences. Ina Colizza and Antonello Apicella met in 2012 at a project developed for the Napoli Teatro Festival where they were both dancers. In 2013 they choreographed “Eduardo…ij rest cà.” A show stag
ed at Teatro San Ferdinando in Naples, Italy. Following this successful collaboration they moved to U.K, where they worked and collaborated on several different projects. The culmination of which gave rise to “Bruise” the intense autobiographical tale that speaks of choices, experiences and how in life the two artists have influenced each other. This piece has been a great success since its debut in Amsterdam, allowing Ina and Antonello to grow as artists, performers and choreographers.
