In conjunction with this it should be noted that there are mandatory and statutory requirements under the P.S.S.R 2000 regulations, therefore we offer, fixed price standard maintenance packages on a bi-annual basis. The Pressboost team recently replaced a large water pump set at a premium busy office and apartment tower block in Central Manchester.
Water was turned off at 9am and the four engineer team of Antony, Carl, Will and Alfie completed the job by 1pm when the water was flowing again.
The new pump set was supplied by Fluid Water Group.

We recently installed this Grundfos combined Dosing Pressurisation Unit at a large North West Hospital.
It had to be installed in an external Chiller compound, therefore, we utilised a Decca Plastics Ltd GRP Housing.
We installed a suitably sized tubular heater and frost stat within the housing.
The unit was commissioned to appropriate system parameters and site design for 80/20 dosing.
This is our first time using this unit and it won’t be the last! More excellent equipment from Grundfos.
Great job completed by Carl Rogerson and John Murphy.

Our engineering team at PressBoost is taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge on 2nd July to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Andrew Shelley, Carl Rogerson, Antony Chesters, John Murphy, Will Thomas, Kieran Shields and Alfie Chesters will be attempting to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours. Starting at around 3AM in Scotland, they’ll take on all three peaks back-to-back, with Chris Brown and Adam Brown supporting on the road between climbs.

It’s a tough challenge, but it’s for an important cause ❤️

We installed this twin-pump Grundfos Hydro Multi E set at a hotel in Wi******er working with Hydraclean Ltd who carried out the whole turnkey project converting the hotel to boosted supply.

The Grundfos range of booster sets are a premium, high efficient product and provided the right solution for this project!

Installed and commissioned by John Murphy. Another install ticked off as we have booster sets flying out the door at present! (Hard to keep up with the marketing!).

Water Damaged Booster Set - Emergency Repairs 🔧 🚨

Whilst we often show off complete booster set installations, we carry out a wide array of repair works.

It’s sometimes easy to show the shiny new installs as they garner interaction on socials.

However, this job shows our speed in a crisis! We were contacted by one of our oldest customers to say they had no water to a 450 room hotel! We attended the same day and found all 4no. Pumps dead on arrival as well as the control panel. It was very clear by the water coming out of the inverter drives that they had suffered extensive water damage. It transpired that a resident flooded a room above and it leaked through the ceiling into the basement plantroom and took out the pump set.

We completed this job in 2 parts. Working with Xylem UK we quickly sourced 2no. 11kW inverters and our friends at Pump Solutions sourced 2no. 11kW inverters and mechanical seals. We attended the following day and got 2 pumps back up and running, restoring much needed supply and peace for the on site team.

The set coped comfortably on two pumps, so we planned the return visit in for a convenient time. We then completed the same installation and restored the set to full working order. What started out as an emergency repair has converted the set from obsolete, to a cost effective solution extending its life for years to come!

Something we often forget to share / shout about is RPZ Valves.

RPZ Valves are critical kit and are arguably more widely used than ever.

The provide Category 4 backflow protection and help manage the risk of backflow where contamination could occur.

We supply, install, commission and test RPZ Valves nationwide. At present we have 3no. Approved Testers and provide this service for a wide range of customers.

It is a statutory requirement to get RPZ Valves tested annually, many people overlook this asset or negate their requirements under the Water Regulations.

You will commonly find RPZs installed as dedicated supplies, cleaning facilities and filling loops on closed systems to name a few.

We can guide you with regards your responsibilities under the regulations and provide cost effective testing & remedial actions.
This installation was completed at a Medical Testing facility in by our engineer Andy Shelley.
