Triple whammy on site in Cambridge today – three of our key clients all working together on the same project. NSS Group, Cubic works & Bruntwood. There’s something really satisfying about seeing that level of familiarity and shared standards on one job. When everyone knows how each other works and expectations are high across the board, it just clicks.
On a more personal note, after four years running operations I’ve decided to step back. It was starting to get a bit much, so we’ve brought some great people up through the business to take the reins. Michael, who’s been with us for sixteen years, has taken over operations and he’s already doing a brilliant job.
My brother and I are now focusing fully on growing the business, which is where our heads need to be. I’m not shy about saying the last few years have been intense – wearing far too many hats at once. The plan now is making sure the right people are in the right roles. Compliance is my thing, so I’ll be keeping our standards as high as ever while we push the business forward.
Feels like the right move at the right time.
