❄️ Another Midea Air Conditioning Installation Completed in Devizes! ☀️

Today’s installation was for a lovely couple in Devizes who have been really struggling with the recent heat, particularly when trying to get a comfortable night’s sleep.

We installed a Midea Solstice wall-mounted air conditioning system, providing highly efficient cooling and heating all year round.

🚧 Another fantastic project completed by Cool Guard Electrical! 🚧

We were incredibly proud to be awarded this project at Thruxton Race Circuit & Airfield and are delighted to begin what we hope will be a long and successful working relationship with the team.

Our brief was to install a CAME GT4 automatic barrier system to provide secure access control and restrict unauthorised entry onto the active runway.

To make the system as efficient as possible, we also installed a wireless point-to-point link, allowing both a live video feed and remote barrier control to be transmitted directly to the Air Traffic Control Tower.

Inside the tower, we fitted a Hikvision intercom monitor, enabling air traffic control personnel to visually verify visitors and safely open the barrier remotely whenever access is required.

Projects like this are a great example of how we combine access control, networking and security technology to deliver reliable, tailored solutions for our customers.

And as an added bonus… while we were on site, Porsche GT3 Cup cars were out on track carrying out practice sessions. As a petrolhead, hearing those flat-six engines all day certainly made for an unforgettable working environment! 🏎️🔥

🔥 Another exciting project completed! 🔥

Over the past few weeks, we had the pleasure of installing new fire alarm systems at the incredible Longleat Estate in Warminster.

The project involved the installation of a new fire alarm system within the elephant enclosure, where we were fortunate enough to get up close to Anne the elephant, who is now in her 70s and believed to be one of the oldest elephants living in conservation. It was a real privilege to work in such a unique environment and meet such an amazing animal.

We also carried out the installation of a new fire alarm system within the rhino enclosure, making this one of the more memorable projects we've had the opportunity to be involved with.

We certainly get to work in some fantastic locations, but this one was a real treat!

A big thank you to Bath & West Fire & Safety, who we partnered with on this project. As always, it was a pleasure working alongside their professional team.

🔧 Project Spotlight – Chalk Paddle, Devizes 🏓

We've recently had the pleasure of working alongside R&T Harris Electrical on an exciting new venture for Chalk Paddle Devizes.

This was a particularly interesting project involving the commissioning of a brand-new paddle court facility. We were tasked with designing and installing the automation system for the court lighting, integrating it with the online booking platform and access control system to provide a seamless user experience for customers.

To achieve this, we designed and built a bespoke control panel that brought all of these systems together, ensuring reliable operation and smooth integration throughout the site.

It's always rewarding to be involved in projects where technology and automation can enhance the customer experience, and we're proud to have played a part in bringing this facility to life.

We can’t get enough of gate automation at the minute!

These lovely gates were supplied by the customer, and we carried out the full automation install using BFT systems, along with a Hikvision intercom. The setup works seamlessly with gate fobs as well as a separate keypad for easy access.

For vehicle exit, we installed an Optex virtual loop detector mounted on a small post near the gates. This removes the need for a traditional ground loop and provides a clean, reliable solution that works flawlessly.

RJT Groundworks Services (Devizes) carried out the groundworks, creating a stunning new driveway for the customer, as well as doing a fantastic job installing the gates themselves.
