⚠️ Another one from Yarm today…

Customer reported no hot water— but what we found was a lot more serious 👇

Water had been slowly leaking onto the immersion heater electrics, causing:
❌ Burnt thermostat
❌ Damaged wiring
❌ Overheating inside the unit

This is a perfect example of why even a small leak shouldn’t be ignored — water and electrics do NOT mix.

👉 The leak from the top immersion had been dripping down onto the bottom immersion, which is what caused the electrical damage.

✅ Bottom immersion heater replaced today
🔧 System made safe and operational
📅 Returning to replace the top immersion to fully resolve the issue

Left any longer, this could have easily led to:
🔥 Electrical failure
🔥 Loss of hot water
🔥 Potential fire risk

If you notice:
• Drips around your cylinder
• Burning smells
• Intermittent hot water

👉 Get it checked early — it’s always cheaper than leaving it.

Another system upgrade completed in Stokesley today 🔧

We removed the old tank-fed hot water cylinder and upgraded the property to a modern unvented cylinder system.

✅ Old tanks and cylinder removed
✅ New unvented cylinder installed
✅ Pipework insulated and system upgraded
✅ Carpets and work areas fully protected throughout the job

The customer now has excellent hot water pressure throughout the house — all without the need for noisy pumps.

Unvented cylinders are a great upgrade for homes still running older gravity systems, providing better pressure, improved efficiency and a much cleaner installation.

🔥 Another Full Heating System Upgrade Completed in Great Ayton

This was a big job transforming an old tank-fed heating system into a modern high-efficiency setup.

We removed the old boiler and converted the system to a brand new Worcester Bosch Greenstar 8000 + 32kW combi.

Work carried out included:

✔ Removal of the old tank fed system
✔ Installation of new Worcester Bosch combi boiler
✔ System power flush to clean the existing pipework
✔ New radiators installed throughout the property

🔥 Heating Upgrade Completed in Ingleby Barwick 🔥

Out with the old and in with the new!

We’ve removed the old hot water cylinder and upgraded this property to a modern, efficient Worcester combi boiler — freeing up valuable cupboard space and improving overall performance.

✔️ Old cylinder safely removed
✔️ New Worcester combi installed
✔️ Cupboard adapted for proper servicing access
✔️ System flushed and treated with inhibitor
✔️ New kitchen mixer tap fitted with pull-out spray for better reach and control

The new setup not only improves efficiency but makes future servicing much easier — something that’s often overlooked but really important long-term.
