A recent boiler upgrade completed for one of our regular customers in Hutton Rudby.

✅ Boiler Replacement Completed in Marton ✅

Back on the tools this week with a boiler replacement for a lovely customer in Marton.

The existing boiler had given many years of service, but it was time for an upgrade. Alongside fitting the new Main Eco Heat combi boiler (manufactured by Baxi), we also:

🔹 Power flushed the heating system using professional cleaning equipment and chemicals
🔹 Added fresh inhibitor for long-term protection
🔹 Upgraded the flue arrangement to comply with current standards
🔹 Carried out full commissioning and safety checks
🔹 Registered the installation with Gas Safe and the manufacturer

The customer now has a far more efficient heating system and the peace of mind of a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.

⚠️ Another one from Yarm today…

Customer reported no hot water— but what we found was a lot more serious 👇

Water had been slowly leaking onto the immersion heater electrics, causing:
❌ Burnt thermostat
❌ Damaged wiring
❌ Overheating inside the unit

This is a perfect example of why even a small leak shouldn’t be ignored — water and electrics do NOT mix.

👉 The leak from the top immersion had been dripping down onto the bottom immersion, which is what caused the electrical damage.

✅ Bottom immersion heater replaced today
🔧 System made safe and operational
📅 Returning to replace the top immersion to fully resolve the issue

Left any longer, this could have easily led to:
🔥 Electrical failure
🔥 Loss of hot water
🔥 Potential fire risk

If you notice:
• Drips around your cylinder
• Burning smells
• Intermittent hot water

👉 Get it checked early — it’s always cheaper than leaving it.
