🌱 BIG Easter Garden Progress!

🌱 Easter idea for the kids (and the whole family!) 🌱

With the Easter holidays here, it’s the perfect time to get the kids outside and growing something of their own 🐣🌿

Whether it’s a few carrots, some beans, or even their own little pot of basil — it’s such a simple way to get them involved, away from screens, and excited about where food comes from 🙌

So this is one for the grandparents, aunties, uncles… get everyone involved!
Why not sow a few seeds together this weekend and see who can grow the best plants? 🌱

🌱 From Overgrown… to Our FIRST HARVEST! 🙌

This week in the garden has been a big one for us… after a long winter, we’ve finally got our beds cleared, prepped, and planted 🌿

We even uncovered a hidden surprise beneath the soil 😲 (definitely wasn’t expecting that!)

And best of all… we picked our very first harvest of the year — fresh rhubarb, ready for a crumble 🍓

It feels so good to be back out in the garden and making progress again 💚

It feels great to say this… 🌱

Back on 26th April 2025, we uploaded a video that became the first on our channel to reach 1,000 views. It took 313 days… and when it finally got there, we celebrated that little milestone on 5th March this year 🥳

Fast forward just a few weeks… and one of our videos has now hit 1,000 views in just 2 days and 17 hours 🤯

We honestly didn’t expect it, but we’re so grateful.

Thank you all for supporting our small channel, for your kind comments, and for following along with our gardening journey. It genuinely means a lot to us 🌿

We’re celebrating in true Growing Family Garden style — with a tuna sandwich on the patio in between filming the next video 😄 Just enjoying our favourite hobby… and letting you watch along.
