As some people are aware and some may not. Tomorrow marks my last day, after 16 years as a self employed electrician carrying out domestic and industrial works.
It's been an interesting time. I've learnt my toughest lessons, had my arse handed to me more times than I care to think. However, it's also brought several great memories and laughs, thought me more than any school ever has. I've met some of the greatest people through my custom base, also some of the most idiotic! 😂.
That said I want to from the bottom of my heart say thank you to the people who have used my services and helped me make a living from this. To those that didn't your loss. 😉.
As of Monday I start a new chapter trying to make a good name for myself at Northern Powergrid with the aim to be a linesman, dangling from pylons! Back to learning, stretching my brain and adding to the skills I have already learnt from the 20 years of 230/415 volt electricerry! It's soon to be anything upto 66000 volts to start with!
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I will always do my best to get back to people who message or call. I'm not saying this is the last of me doing this work, just for now I need to do something new and challenging.
I want to take this chance to thank my better half Lyndsey Fitheridge for her help and guidance when I've felt I've had enough and her support in making this switch possible. I'd be lost without you!
