We offer virtual and in-person sessions, that can be held UK wide.

Career Mixer – Networking with a Difference

Support young people as they take part in their very first networking experience.

We still have a few spaces available for our event tomorrow, Tuesday 14th July 2026, 6.00pm at MK:U Innovation Hub, so why not join us for this incredibly rewarding event. You'll help build young people's confidence, broaden their careers' knowledge, raise their aspirations, and give them the opportunity to develop one of the most valuable employability skills of all, networking.

Simply come along, chat with students about your career journey, and help them gain confidence speaking to professionals in a relaxed and supportive environment whilst making new business connections too.

As an added bonus, we'll also be holding a raffle with an excellent selection of prizes. Entry is based on a donation, with every contribution helping Worktree continue to reach even more young people.

Worktree Seeks Volunteers for School Career Talks

Could you spare some time to help young people explore their future careers?

Worktree is seeking volunteers to visit local schools and share their career journeys with students. Through simple, meaningful conversations, you can help young people explore career pathways, build confidence, and gain valuable insights into the world of work.

No presentations or extensive preparation required. Simply answer students' questions in small groups about your job, profession, and experiences.

Worktree were honoured to attend NHBC’s Armed Forces Business Breakfast at their HQ today.

A truly inspiring morning learning more about NHBC’s commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant, the role of Reservists, and powerful journeys from service to civilian careers.

A highlight was hearing from Johanna (JJ) Hrycak, who shared her journey in the Armed Forces, her role as a Reservist, and her dedicated work supporting veterans with their next steps.

The message throughout was clear: the incredible transferable skills ex-military personnel bring to the workplace including resilience, adaptability, risk assessment, communication, and commitment are skills we’re proud to continually champion at Worktree through our Career WorkOut sessions for young people.

More Worktree National Apprenticeship Week 2026 action! 💪

Last Wednesday took us to St Paul’s School in Milton Keynes, where we worked with Year 13 students on our 'Get That Apprenticeship' experience.

Students connected with employers offering apprenticeship opportunities and heard directly from apprentices about their real-life experiences, the challenges, the wins, and their application and interview processes.

No Google or AI in sight. Just genuine, first-hand exposure to the world of apprenticeships through real conversations.

We were honoured to support Volkswagen Group UK at their 'Road Ahead' event again this year, delivering interview skills workshops to students from several Milton Keynes Schools.

It was particularly inspiring to meet the young apprentices who had attended the same event last year as students.

A huge thanks to the VWG UK team for hosting us and providing MK students with such a valuable insight into the world of apprenticeships and their industry.

We’re looking forward to a jam-packed week of delivery for National Apprenticeship Week (9–15 February 2026).

We’ll be working with students in Milton Keynes and across the country, bringing real apprentice journeys into the classroom both in person and virtually, while delivering meaningful encounters featuring employers and training providers.

These sessions directly support Gatsby Benchmarks 5 and 7 and are aligned with Provider Access Legislation (PAL) guidance.

Our sessions help students explore technical and academic pathways, build awareness of labour market opportunities, and engage confidently with employers.
